Surah Al-Ahzab Ayat 02 & 03 Daily Qur’an & Hadith (09 Nov 2023)

English Translation of Al-Quran

[33].Surah Al-Ahzab [The Confederates]

Ayat 2. O Prophet (Muhammad  [SAWW](PBUH)! And follow that which is inspired in you from your Lord. Verily, Allah is Well Acquainted with what you do.

Ayat 3. And put your trust in Allah, and Sufficient is Allah as a Wakil (Trustee, or Disposer of affairs).

Tafseer of Surah Al Ahzab (The Confederates) Ayat 02. But follow that which comes to thee by inspiration from thy Lord: for Allah is well acquainted with (all) that ye do. In the most adverse circumstances, in the midst of the assaults of Evil, the plots of reason and hypocrisy, the darts of slander and false charges, and stupid superstitions and taboos, the Prophet of Allah should steer his course steadily according to Allah’s Law and not fear human evil, in whatever form it appears. Men may misjudge, but Allah knows all. Men may try to overthrow Good, but Wisdom is with Allah. Ayat 03. And put thy trust in Allah, and enough is Allah as a disposer of affairs. We must wholly trust Allah: He is the true and efficient Guardian of all interests. Cf. 4:81,

English Translation of Hadith

Hazrat Al-Mughirah bin Shu’bah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah  [SAWW](PBUH) used to say at the conclusion of prayer: “La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku, wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa `ala kulli shai’in Qadir. Allahumma la mani’a lima a’tayta, wa la mu`tiya lima mana’ta, wa la yanfa’u dhal-jaddi, minkal-jaddu (there is no true god except Allah. He is One and He has no partner with Him, His is the sovereignty and His is the praise, and He is Omnipotent. O Allah! None can deny that which You bestow and none can bestow that which You hold back; and the greatness of the great will be of no avail to them against You).”

[Al-Bukhari Book 09, Chapter 92, Hadith # 395].

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Ahzab Ayat 03. “And put your trust in Allah, and Sufficient is Allah as a Wakil (Trustee, or Disposer of affairs)” Al-Jaddu” means good luck and richness. That is, good fortune and prosperity will not be of any avail before Allah. What will really benefit a person before Him are Faith and virtuous deeds. The prayer quoted in this Hadith makes a special mention of His Oneness.
