اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
اَعُوْذُبِااللّٰہِ مِنَ الشَّیْطٰنِ الرَّجِيْم
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
*_Today’s Thought for the day is from Surah Al-Hijr Ayat 14 & 15_*
*وَلَوۡ فَتَحۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ بَابًا مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ فَظَلُّوۡا فِيۡهِ يَعۡرُجُوۡنَۙ.(14)*
*لَـقَالُوۡۤا اِنَّمَا سُكِّرَتۡ اَبۡصَارُنَا بَلۡ نَحۡنُ قَوۡمٌ مَّسۡحُوۡرُوۡنَ.(15)*
*_Even if a gate in heaven was opened to them, and they began to ascend through it,(14)_*
*_They would still say: Our eyes are befuddled; indeed we have been bewitched!.(15)_*
اوراگر ہم آسمان کا کوئی دروازہ اُن پر کھول دیں اور وہ اس میں چڑھنے بھی لگیں.(14)
تو بھی یہی کہیں کہ ہماری آنکھیں مخمور ہوگئی ہیں بلکہ ہم پر جادو کر دیا گیا ہے.(15)
These Ayat describe the arrogance and adamant nature of the disbelievers towards the signs of Allah Subhanahu wa taa’la.‼️ *They are so deeply engrossed in their denial* _that even if Allah Subhanahu wa taa’la had caused the gates of heaven to open even if they were made to see the Angels they would have said that either they were drunk or bewitched._ Such an attitude is described by Allah Azzawajal in Surah Al-An’am
*_Had We sent down to you ˹O Prophet˺ a revelation in writing and they were to touch it with their own hands, the disbelievers would still have said, “This is nothing but pure magic! (Surah Al-An’am 6:7)_*
*_Act of the Day is:_* to understand that People who do not want to accept the truth see even the highest miracles as magic.‼️ *Even if they were taken to heaven and given to see the proofs and signs of the greatness of Allah ﷻ, they still would not believe.* Allahﷻ already knows their hearts. *Whereas those who want to believe will only look at the signs in the world and do not need to go to heaven.* However, people who do not believe ask for all kinds of evidence but in the end do not want to believe.
— To realise and understand that the attitude of the disbelievers depicted here is common for all the times.❗ _It is not specific to the past ages, nor is the product of a culture of a certain phase of human existence._ *It is the example of human responses when their natures are corrupted and vision is restricted; when they are cut off from the real world.* Such an attitude we get to see in our times from the *Atheist group of people* who think that the entire universe has come into existence by itself without the aid and orders of Allah ﷻ. We notice quiet often such an attitude of resistance and stubbornness becomes an obstacle to accepting faith.
