اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
اَعُوْذُبِااللّٰہِ مِنَ الشَّیْطٰنِ الرَّجِيْم
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
*_Today’s Thought for the day is from Surah An-Nahl Ayah 56_*
*وَيَجۡعَلُوۡنَ لِمَا لَا يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ نَصِيۡبًا مِّمَّا رَزَقۡنٰهُمۡؕ تَاللّٰهِ لَـتُسۡـئَلُنَّ عَمَّا كُنۡتُمۡ تَفۡتَرُوۡنَ.(56)*
*_They allocate a portion of the sustenance We have given them to those whose reality they do not even know. By Allah, you will surely be called to account for the lies you have been fabricating.(56)_*
اور ہمارے دیئے ہوئے مال میں سے ایسی چیزوں کا حصہ مقرر کرتے ہیں جن کو جانتے ہی نہیں۔ (کافرو) خدا کی قسم کہ جو تم افتراء کرتے ہو اس کی تم سے ضرور پرسش ہوگی.(56)
The Ayah describes the ignorance and wrongdoing of the polytheists, and how they fabricated lies against Allahﷻ.‼️ _They divided the provisions of sustenance Allahﷻ gave them, their crops and cattle into two portions, assigning one to Allahﷻ and claiming that they did this in accordance with Allah’sﷻ law. They assigned the other portion to the deities they invented and who they considered as partners with Allahﷻ having power over their lives, wealth and children._
Having done so, they dealt unfairly with the portion they assigned to Allahﷻ. By one device and another they increased the share of the false deities. They used to add a part of it to the portion assigned to their other deities or partners and never did the same with the other portion belonging to Allahﷻ which only showed that their heart lay with those sham partners rather than with Allahﷻ.
*_Act of thr Day is:_* to understand the gravity of idolatry and false worship.‼️Here Allah ﷻ swears by HIS name and this shows the magnitude of the matter to be conveyed and warns those of practicing shirk to be ready for accountability.
–To understand that it is sheer ingratitude to ascribe the acts of benevolence and grace of the true Benefactor to the intercession of others, and to associate them with Allah Subhanahu wa taa’la in thanksgiving.
–To understand that To Allahﷻ alone belong all the bounties that has been given to man, and only HIS Law should therefore determine what part of those bounties should be offered to HIM in thanksgiving and how the remaining should be spent. It is absolutely wrong to act as a law-maker who could ascribe shares to Allahﷻ and others as one wishes. The authority of God head to legislate only and solely belongs to Allahﷻ Alone.
