Things that DO NOT WORK to secure a job

  • Sending resumes to known contacts on email and requesting them to look for a job for you. No one has time to do job search for you. YOU need it to do it yourself. Your resume will stay in their inbox forever.
  • Sending resumes to known contacts on WhatsApp, Telegram etc. New messages or posts come and your message goes at the bottom to be never read
  • Commenting “I am interested, Interested” or hitting like on LInkedin posts
  • Following up with someone who might not be in the same field like you and does not understand much about your job profile or does not have known vacancies.
