اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
اَعُوْذُبِااللّٰہِ مِنَ الشَّیْطٰنِ الرَّجِيْم
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
*_Today’s Thought for the day is from Surah Al-Isra Ayah 28_*
*وَاِمَّا تُعۡرِضَنَّ عَنۡهُمُ ابۡتِغَآءَ رَحۡمَةٍ مِّنۡ رَّبِّكَ تَرۡجُوۡهَا فَقُلْ لَّهُمۡ قَوۡلًا مَّيۡسُوۡرًا.(28)*
*_If you [O Muhammad] must turn away from them(that is, from the destitute, the near of kin, the needy, and the wayfarer) whilst seeking mercy from your Lord for which you hope, then say to them words of comfort.(28)_*
اور اگر تم نے اپنے پروردگار کی رحمت (یعنی فراخ دستی) کے انتظار میں جس کی تمہیں امید ہو ان (مستحقین) کی طرف توجہ نہ کرسکو اُن سے نرمی سے بات کہہ دیا کرو.(28)
The Ayah is giving a moral training through the Noble Prophet SAWS to the entire Muslim community when they face a situation where they are unable to help the needy person because of financial issues.‼️If someone happens to be in this situation, then he should tell that person with polite and gentle words and at the same time, he should promise the needy that he will give to them whenever his means improve. The Noble Prophet SAWS used to Pray Allah Azzawajal at times when he was not in a situation to help others by saying
*_“May Allah provide the means for you and me out of His Grace!”_*
*_Act of the Day is:_* to understand the word *قَوْلًا مَّیْسُوْرًا Qawlan Maisooran* used in the Ayah meaning speaking kind words of comfort.‼️This is because Satan always encourages hostility among humans. One way is by inciting humans to use words that are bad, ugly, and hurtful. If we say the wrong thing, it can hurt others hearts and can cause hostility.
So the Quran teaches us many ways to communicate with people like
*1) Qawlan Ma’roofan* speaking words which are easy to understand
*2)Qawlan Sadeedan* meaning Speak clearly and precisely and do not hide things that we know.
*3) Qawlan Baleeghan:* meaning words of advice that have an impact.
*4)Qawlan Kareeman:* communicating with parents in a soft and non hurting way.
*5)Qawlan Layyinan:* meaning speaking softly.
*_May Allah Subhanahu wa taa’la grant us the ability to remain gentle and polite in our conversations and save us from following the foot steps of shaitan. Aa’meen Ya’Rabbul Aa’lameen._*
