English Translation of Al-Quran
[28].Surah Al-Qasas [The Narration]
Ayat 84. Whosoever brings good (Islamic Monotheism along with righteous deeds), he shall have the better thereof, and whosoever brings evil (polytheism along with evil deeds) then, those who do evil deeds will only be Punished for what they used to do.
Tafseer of Surah Al-Qasas Ayat 84. If any does good, the reward to him is better than his deed; but if any does evil, the doers of evil are only punished (to the extent) of their deeds. A good deed has its sure reward, and that reward will be better than the merits of the doer. An evil deed may be forgiven by repentance, but in any case, will not be punished with a severe penalty than justice demands.
English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, “If anyone calls others to follow right guidance, his reward will be equivalent to those who follow him (in righteousness) without their reward being diminished in any respect, and if anyone invites others to follow error, the sin, will be equivalent to that of the people who follow him (in sinfulness) without their sins being diminished in any respect”.
[Muslim Book # 06, Chapter 34, Hadith # 6470].
Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Qasas Ayat 84. “Whosoever brings good (Islamic Monotheism along with righteous deeds), he shall have the better thereof” Invitation’ and `Call’ stand to mean here that someone induces others to virtue or seduces to sin by means of his speech or action. We come to know from this Hadith that one who becomes a medium for either of them is given a reward or punishment respectively by Allah (SWT).
