*_Today’s Thought for the day comes from Surah An-Nahl Ayah 66_*
*_”And indeed, for you is a lesson in the cattle. We give you drink from what is in their bellies-between bowels and blood – pure milk, palatable to the drinkers”.(66)_*
The Ayah calls to ponder upon one more sign derived from creation of cattle and their role in our lives.‼️
_The spiritual sustenance which Allahﷻ gives is typified by the wonderful ways of sustenance in the physical world, which figure forth Allah’sﷻ providence and living care for HIS creation. And the wonderful transformation in the physical world, which all tend to the benefit of man, are also signs of His Supreme Wisdom._
_*”…between bowels and blood…”,* This refers to the most wonderful process of the formation of pure milk in the bellies of the she-cattle, for the fodder they eat turns into blood, filth and pure milk, which is altogether different from the first two in its nature, colour and usefulness. In the bellies of the cattle where dung and blood are produced, there pure milk is also produced. This milk does not contain even the slightest portion of these two filthy things, and man finds the taste of milk pleasant and palatable. Some she-cattle produce milk in such abundance that after suckling their young-ones, a large quantity of it is left to make excellent human food._
*_Act for the Day is:_* _To ponder upon many tangible gifts Allahﷻ SWT has provided us for our continuous growth and sustenance. In rain, in milk, in fruits, in honey._
–Let’s reflect upon the process of milk production through the udders of cattle.❗ It is made of what remains in the bellies of cattle after they have digested their food and the absorption of the excretions in the intestines to transform it into blood. The blood is then circulated to every cell in the body, but when it reaches the milk glands or the udder, it becomes milk through a fine process set by Allahﷻ. This is indeed an aspect of His fine and inimitable creation. No fair minded human being could contemplate such remarkable processes without feeling that every atom in his being glorifies the Creator. The mention of one such scientific fact is sufficient to prove that the Qur’ān is Allah’sﷻ revelation. All mankind was at the time totally ignorant of such facts.
_Let’s Glorify Allahﷻ SWT for His wonderful ways of treating us with various types of fruits, milk and honey._
(So, enjoy the nutritious and delicious halal foods and say *”AlHamdulillah”!*
