اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
اَعُوْذُبِااللّٰہِ مِنَ الشَّیْطٰنِ الرَّجِيْم
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
*_Today’s Thought for the day is from Surah An-Nahl Ayah 88_*
*اَلَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا وَصَدُّوۡا عَنۡ سَبِيۡلِ اللّٰهِ زِدۡنٰهُمۡ عَذَابًا فَوۡقَ الۡعَذَابِ بِمَا كَانُوۡا يُفۡسِدُوۡنَ.(88)*
*_For those who disbelieve and bar others from the path of Allah, We will add punishment to their punishment because they used to spread mischief.(88)_*
جن لوگوں نے کفر کیا اور (لوگوں کو) خدا کے رستے سے روکا ہم اُن کو عذاب پر عذاب دیں گے۔ اس لیے کہ شرارت کیا کرتے تھے.(88)
These disbelievers not only refrained from adopting Allah’sﷻ Way” as well as “they prevented others from adopting the true path of Islam.”‼️ There are several ways of preventing others from adopting Allah’sﷻ Way:
(1) That one should forcibly prevent another from believing.
(2) That one should so persecute the believers that it should become difficult for them to remain steadfast on the faith and for others to embrace the faith in view of the dreadful conditions.
(3) That one should mislead the people against the religion and its followers in different ways and create doubts in the hearts so that the people may become suspicious of the religion itself. Besides, every disbeliever prevents others from the way of Allahﷻ in the sense that he brings up his children on the way of disbelief, and then it becomes difficult for his future generation to give up the ancestral faith and accept Islam. Likewise, every unbelieving society is an obstruction to the Way of Allahﷻ, for it creates obstacles in the way of the progress of the faith by its system of education and training, its government and its customs and prejudices.
*_Act of thr Day is_* to understand that Disbelief in Allah Subhanahu wa taa’la is corruption, and turning others from HIS path is also corruption. These people are guilty of both offences. Hence it is only right that their punishment should be increased therefore such evil doers will receive double torment.‼️ _They will be punished for every command that they abandoned and every prohibition that they indulged in addition to this they will be punished for misleading others and as well as leaving legacy of falsehood for the coming generations._ when the Prophet SAWS was asked about the words, “We shall add on to them chastisement upon chastisement”, he replied that they refer to the _“Scorpions as tall large as date palm trees that will be stinging them in the Hellfire.” “Five rivers (of fire) that will be let loose on the inhabitants of Hell” (Shawkani)_.
