*_Today’s Thought for the day comes from Surah An-Nahl Ayah 96_*
*_”Whatever is with you will be exhausted and whatever is with Allah (of good deeds) will remain. And surely We will pay those who are patient their reward, according to the best of what they used to do”.(96)_*
(Please refer S9:A121 also)
The Ayah directs us to contemplate the temporary worldly possessions against the eternal rewards from Allah Subhanahu wa taa’la for performance of good deeds.‼️ _There can be no comparison between spiritual good, which will endure forever, and any temporal advantage which we might snatch in this world, which will fade and vanish in no time. *Allah Azzawajal’s generosity is unbounded and limitless.* HE SWT rewards us, not according to our merits, but according to the very best of our Actions._
*_Act for the Day is:_* _To understand that Those who practise fortitude (courage and strength when’s facing pain or trouble) are the people who will always stand Firm in the struggle between right and truth on one side and greed and lust on the other._
_They bear every loss for the sake of righteousness and reject every gain that they might obtain by adopting unlawful means. They patiently wait for the rewards of their good deeds in the Hereafter._
This Ayah reminds us:
1. To prioritise eternal rewards.
2. To cultivate patience.
3. To focus on good deeds.
4. To trust Allah Azzawajal’s promise.
*_O’Allah! Give us that strength to Patiently persevere on the path that pleases You. Aa’meen Ya’Rabbul Aa’lameen_*
JazaK Allâhu Khair!
