*_Today’s Thought for the day is from Surah Ibrahim Ayah 21_*
*_They will all appear before Allah, then those who were weak will say to those who were arrogant: We were your followers; can you then protect us at all against Allah’s punishment? They will say: If Allah had guided us, we would have guided you. It makes no difference to us [now] whether we panic or show patience, for we have no escape.(21)_*
The Ayah describes the conversation between the blind followers and their misguided leaders on the Day of judgement where they stand helpless before Allah Subhanahu wa taa’la.‼️ *The people who were morally weak didn’t use their reasoning power and the free will given by Allah Azzawajal to find out the truth rather they shut their power of reasoning and followed those leaders who mislead them to such an extent making them think that what they were following was infact the right path.* _While those arrogant leaders group, committed fraud to the weak in this world and pretended to be gods. In the afterlife they are demanded by their followers to defend and protect them from Allah Azzawajal’s punishment, but they stand powerless, faced with the power and greatness of Allah SWT. Their satanic behaviour continues even on the Day of judgement by putting a blame on Allah Azzawajal for not guiding them, but HE SWT doesn’t command anyone to go astray,_ as HE SWT says: *_“Never does Allah enjoin what is indecent.” (7: 28)_*
*_Act of the Day is:_* to understand that we are exposed to Allah Subhanahu wa taa’la at all times both in this world and will realise this fact much better on the Day of judgement when we shall be presented before the Greatest of all Judges that we were fully exposed before HIM all along, so much so that every deed we did and each and everything we thought and desired is known to HIM.‼️The word *baruz بَرَزُوۡا* means to emerge and also implies to *become known.* That is why it has been translated into *“shall appear before Allah”*.
—To understand that this Ayah serves a warning to all those people who follow others blindly or obey and submit to tyrants because *they say: We are weak.❗Show of weakness is no virtue nor does it offer any excuse. It is a crime.* _Allah Azzawajal did not wish anyone to be weak. HE SWT invites the people to seek strength through HIM – and all might is HIS. HE SWT does not wish that someone should forego his share of strength and, instead, spend his life in servility of others._ The conscience as for the soul as for the intellect these, no one can rob these things of another, unless the owner himself wishes to relinquish them, in humiliation.
*_May Allah Subhanahu wa taa’la continue to guide us upon the straight path and save us from getting mislead and going astray. Aa’meen Ya’Rabbul Aa’lameen_*
JazaK Allâhu khair!
