Surah Suad Ayat 09, 10 & 11 Daily Qur’an & Hadith (11 June 2024)

English Translation of Al-Quran

[38].Surah Suad

Ayat 9.  Messenger of Allah  [SAWW](PBUH) Or have they the treasures of the Mercy of your Lord, the All-Mighty, the Real Bestower?

Ayat 10. Or is it that the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them is theirs? If so, let them ascend up with means (to the heavens)!

Ayat 11. (As they denied Allah’s Message) they will be a defeated host like the confederates of the old times (who were defeated).

Tafseer of Surah Suad Ayat 9. Or have they the treasures of the mercy of thy Lord,- the Exalted in Power, the Grantor of Bounties without measure? If they set themselves to judge Allah, have they anything to show comparable to Allah’s Mercy and Power! He has both in infinite measure. Who are they to question the grant of His Mercy and Revelation to His own Chosen One? Ayat 10. Or have they the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all between? If so, let them mount up with the ropes and means (to reach that end)! Weak and puny creatures though they are, they dare to raise their heads against the Omnipotent, as if they had dominion over Creation and not He! If they had any power, let them mount up to heaven and use all the means they have to that end, and see how they can frustrate Allah’s Purpose! Ayat 11. But there – will be put to flight even a host of confederates. Of course they cannot frustrate Allah’s Purpose. In that world—the spiritual world—they will be ignominiously routed, even if they form the strongest confederacy of the Powers of Evil that ever could combine.

English Translation of Hadith

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ [SAWW](PBUH) said,  “(The performance of) `Umrah is an expiation for the sins committed between it and the previous `Umrah; and the reward of Hajj Mabrur (i.e., one accepted) is nothing but Jannah.”

[Al-Bukhari Book 03, Chapter 27, Hadith # 001].

Lesson : as mentioned above in Hadith Almighty Allah emancipates most of His slaves, both men and women from the Hell-fire on this great day. Millions of pilgrims, who by virtue of their sincere repentance, try to seek the Pleasure of Allah certainly stand to earn Allah’s Pardon for their sins and thereby emancipation from the Hell-fire. May Allah grant us this grace of His.
