[39].Surah Al-Zumar [The Groups]
Ayat 65. And indeed, it has been revealed to you (O Muhammad ﷺ [SAWW](PBUH), as it was to those (Allah’s Messengers) before you: “If you join others in worship with Allah, (then) surely (all) your deeds will be in vain, and you will certainly be among the losers.”
Ayat 66. Nay! But worship Allah (Alone and none else), and be among the grateful.
Tafseer of Surah Al Zumar Ayat 65. But it has already been revealed to thee, – as it was to those before thee, – “If thou wert to join (gods with Allah, truly fruitless will be thy work (in life), and thou wilt surely be in the ranks of those who lose (all spiritual good)”. The Message of Unity, renewed in Islam, has been the Message of Allah since the world began. Cf. 5:5. False worship means that we run alter fruitless tiling’s, and the main purpose of our spiritual lives is lost. 66. Nay, but worship Allah, and be of those who give thanks. To “give thanks” is to show by our conduct that we esteem the gifts of Allah and will use them in His service.
English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ [SAWW](PBUH) said, “If anyone calls others to follow right guidance, his reward will be equivalent to those who follow him (in righteousness) without their reward being diminished in any respect, and if anyone invites others to follow error, the sin, will be equivalent to that of the people who follow him (in sinfulness) without their sins being diminished in any respect”.

Lesson: “My wage is from Allah only. and He is Witness over all things” Invitation’ and `Call’ stand to mean here that someone induces others to virtue or seduces to sin by means of his speech or action. We come to know from this Hadith that one who becomes a medium for either of them is given a reward or punishment respectively by Allah (SWT).
