Surah Al-Ahzab Ayat 40 Daily Qur’an & Hadith (11 Dec 2023)

English Translation of Al-Quran

[33].Surah Al-Ahzab [The Confederates]

Ayat 40. Muhammad (image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) is not the father of any man among you, but he is the Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) and the last (end) of the Prophets. And Allah is Ever All Aware of everything.

Tafseer of Surah Al Ahzab (The Confederates) Ayat 40. Muhammad image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the Messenger of Allah  [SAWW](PBUH), and the Seal of the Prophets: and Allah has full knowledge of all things. When a document is sealed, it is complete, and there can be no further addition. The Prophet Muhammad image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) closed the long line of Messengers. Allah’s teaching is and will always be continuous, but there has been and will be no Prophet after Muhammad. The later ages will want thinkers and reformers, not Prophets. This is not an arbitrary matter. It is a decree full of knowledge and wisdom, “for Allah has full knowledge of all things.”

English Translation of Hadith

Hazrat Aisha (May Allah be pleased with her) said: The Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) said, “I do not think that so-and-so understands anything of our Faith.”

[Al-Bukhari Book 08, Chapter 73, Hadith # 93]

Al-Bukhari said: Hazrat Al-Laith bin Saad (May Allah be pleased with him), who is one of the narrators of this Hadith, said: The two men mentioned by the Prophet image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) in this Hadith were hypocrites (i.e., they revealed Faith and concealed disbelief).

Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Al-Ahzab Ayat 40. “he is the Messenger of Allah image001.jpg [SAWW](PBUH) and the last (end) of the Prophets. And Allah is Ever All Aware of everything. Hypocrites are also people of mischievous and doubtful conduct. It is, therefore, not only permissible but necessary to make people aware of their real position so that people become cautious about them and their religious and worldly life may remain safe from their machinations.
