English Translation of Al-Quran
[40].Surah Al Mumin (The Believer) also known as Surah Ghafir [The Forgiver]
Ayat 4. None disputes in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah but those who disbelieve. So let not their ability of going about here and there through the land (for their purposes) deceive you [O Muhammad ﷺ [SAWW](PBUH), their ultimate end will be the Fire of Hell]!
Tafseer of Surah Al Mumin (The Believer) Ayat 04. None can dispute about the Signs of Allah but the Unbelievers. Let not, then, their strutting about through the land deceive thee! Allah’s knowledge and attributes are perfect, and everything around us proclaims this. We are surrounded by His Signs. It is only the want of Faith that will make people dispute about them. Cf. 3:196. Their strutting about shows how little they can read the signs.
English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Al-Bara’ bin `Azib (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: A man was reciting Surat Al-Kahf, and a horse was tied with two ropes beside him. As he was reciting, a cloud overshadowed him, and as it began to come nearer and nearer, the horse began to trample violently. The man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ [SAWW](PBUH) in the morning and mentioned the incident to him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ [SAWW](PBUH) said, “That was tranquility which descended as a result of the recitation of the Qur’an.”
[Muslim Book 04, Chapter 127, Hadith # 1739].
Lesson : This Hadith brings out two points. Firstly, the excellence of Surah Al-Kahf (The Cave, No. 18). Secondly, the descending of tranquility from Allah on the pious persons. The appearance of a cloud for the tranquility of heart on the recitation of the Qur’an is a supernatural event (miracle) to which a pious man does not make any contribution. It entirely depends on the Will of Allah.
