*DURING THIS QUARANTINE TIME,*
*LETS STAY HOME AND BE SAFE AND DO SOME QUALITY READING TO INCREASE OUR KNOWLEDGE….*

*UKASHAH BIN MOHSIN(R.A)*
*THE MUJAHID*
*WHO MADE A SWORD*
*OUT OF A TREE BRANCH*

So you only have a stick branch to fight against hundreds of people who are armed with swords and arrows,
*How would you actually feel?*
Be honest.
Some of us may think we will go and fight but some of us will actually go and find any other thing which might be stronger and mightier than what we were given.

This is the story of Ukashah Bin Mohsin Radiyallahu Anhu. You might not be so familiar with his name because he was among the 70,000 fortunate people who fought in the Battle of Badr, the fortunate people who will enter Paradise without any reckoning or process of accountability.
Allahu’akbar.

*SO WHAT MAKES THIS STORY AMAZING?*
*It was this moment.*
*When the sword of Ukashah Radiyallahu Anhu was broken while fighting against the disbelievers and he was side by side with the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam, so when the Prophet saw this he gave Ukashah a branch of a date palm [it’s actually softer than the regular tree branch].*
*When he got the branch, he didn’t complain about the weapon he was given, he just immediately made use of it and it was said that Ukashah Radiyallahu Anhu made use of that branch so well that in just few moments, it became a sword.*
Subhan’Allah.
Look at how Allah Azza Wa Jall equips His Slaves. Allahu’akbar.
_____
*Now, this miraculous sword remained with him until he passed away, with this sword Ukashah fought and participated in many battles.*

His sister, Umm Qais Bint Mohsin Radiyallahu Anha narrated:
“My brother, Ukashah, was very good looking. He excelled by virtue of nobility of birth and was superior to others by virtue of knowledge and learning. He was also a great leader and ruler.
*When the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam passed away ukashah was 24 years old. He has taken part in the Battle of Badr and Battle of Uhud and other battles with great favor and enthusiasm. He displayed exceptional expertise in many wars.”*
_____
Indeed, this is just a hint of the inspiring life of Ukashah Bin Mohsin Radiyallahu Anhu.
*But ponder hard about and from this particular story in his life, when he was given a weapon, he didn’t see the negative side of it rather he brought out the best that he could out of his weapon.*
May we [really] be among those people that always sees and uses what is given to them as a means of becoming better or bringing out the best out of it.

*REMEMBER,*
*Allah Azza Wa Jall indeed equipped us with a weapon that is stronger than any sword or arrow, He equipped every Muslim the power of*
*DUA*
*So make use of it.*
_____
And we pray that this story makes us realize the blessings Allah Azza Wa Jall has bestowed upon us and that we remain ever grateful for everything He blesses us with.
Aameen
