اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
اَعُوْذُبِااللّٰہِ مِنَ الشَّیْطٰنِ الرَّجِيْم
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
*_Today’s Thought for the day is from Surah Al-Hijr Ayah 16_*
*وَلَـقَدۡ جَعَلۡنَا فِى السَّمَآءِ بُرُوۡجًا وَّزَيَّـنّٰهَا لِلنّٰظِرِيۡنَۙ.(16)*
*_We have placed big stars in the heaven, and made it lovely to behold.(16)_*
اور ہم ہی نے آسمان میں برج بنائے اور دیکھنے والوں کے لیے اُس کو سجا دیا.(16)
The Ayah describes the magnificent power and perfect design of Allah Subhanahu wa taa’la.‼️ It reflects Allah Azzawajal’s elaborate planning and HIS limitless power that puts into place this great piece of creation, the universe. Allah SWT has created countless planets, moons and stars, all of which decorate the sky, so that they attract the hearts of those who look at them. Instead of demanding supernatural miracles or going to the heavens one can look at the heaven from the earth itself and reflect upon the flawless system which Allah Subhanahu wa taa’la has placed and fall in submission to HIM. As Allah Azzawajal says in Surah Furqan
*_Blessed is the One Who has placed constellations in the sky, as well as a ˹radiant˺ lamp and a luminous moon.(25:61)_*
*_And He is the One Who causes the day and the night to alternate, ˹as a sign˺ for whoever desires to be mindful or to be grateful.(62)_*
*_Act of the Day is:_* to ponder and reflect upon these clear proofs of the Oneness, Knowledge and Power of Allah Azzawajal, a little delibration on the part of a sensible person would make any denial on HIS Oneness impossible.‼️These celestial objects are a guide for travelers walking in the middle of the desert at night, ships sailing in the middle of the ocean, and airplanes and spaceships flying to their destination. The movement of the planets around the sun, moon around the planets, and stars can also be used as a basis for knowing the number of days, the number of years, and the calculation of time. A little reflection on the atmosphere of the night when the sky is clear without clouds, the stars that are scattered in the sky and their light comes and goes, and the light of the full moon creates peace in the hearts of those who have faith in Allah Azzawajal. All of this strengthens his faith, so that without realising it, his mouth utters words that glorify Allah Azzawajal.
