اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
اَعُوْذُبِااللّٰہِ مِنَ الشَّیْطٰنِ الرَّجِيْم
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
*_Today’s Thought for the day is from Surah An-Nahl Ayah 85_*
*وَاِذَا رَاَ الَّذِيۡنَ ظَلَمُوا الۡعَذَابَ فَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنۡهُمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ يُنۡظَرُوۡنَ.(85)*
*_When the wrongdoers see the punishment, it will not be alleviated, nor will they be given any respite.(85)_*
اور جب ظالم لوگ عذاب دیکھ لیں گے تو پھر نہ تو اُن کے عذاب ہی میں تخفیف کی جائے گی اور نہ اُن کو مہلت ہی دی جائے گی.(85)
The Ayah is a powerful reminder to the persistent wrongdoers that they will not be shown any leniency of the Day of Judgement.‼️ *The disbelievers will be standing there, not permitted to speak or make any plea or argument*. They will not be allowed to make amends in order to satisfy their Lord, for it is too late to do so. It is a time for reckoning and the determination of fates. There will be no reckoning for them, because they will have no good deeds to their credit; rather their bad deeds will be checked and counted, and they will be shown to them, and they will be made to confess to them and will be exposed to shame.
*_Act of the Day is:_* to understand that the Quran and the traditions are explicit on this point that the place for penitence is this world and not the next world.‼️ *Even in this world the opportunity is lost as soon as signs of death begin to appear, for the penitence at that time will be of no avail when a person knows that the time of his death has come.* _Respite for deeds expires as soon as one enters into the boundary of death, and the only thing that remains after that is the award of reward and punishment._
