Surah Ibrahim – Ayah 14

*_Today’s Thought for the day is from Surah Ibrahim Ayah 14_*

*_And We will certainly cause you to dwell in the land after they are gone. This is for those who fear standing before Me [on the Day of Resurrection], and who heed My warning.(14)_*

Here comes a promise from Allah Subhanahu wa taa’la for those who have Taqwa and the fear of accountability on the Day of judgement.‼️ *This was to reassure the Prophets that they should not worry at all about the threat that the disbelievers would banish them from their country, as if to say: We will uproot them from their land, and establish you and your followers firmly in their place.* _Whenever the tyranny was at its maximum Allah Subhanahu wa taa’la asked the Messengers and the group of believers to vacate the land so that the guilty disbelievers are isolated and they are punished_. *This settlement in the land after the tyrants have gone is the good end that Allah Azzawajal granted to the Messengers and their followers.* .

*_Act of the Day is:_* to understand the fact that What is to be feared is Allah Azzawajal’s position.‼️ *Therefore the promise of giving authority in the land applies only to those who have faith and piety, who only fear Allah Azzawajal and do not fear others.* _They take measures to avoid things which HE SWT has forbidden. They do not engage in corruption or wrongdoing against other people. Hence they deserve to be given their chance and be established on earth._

*_May Allah Subhanahu wa taa’la grant us the ability to be among HIS chosen slaves and make us eligible to receive HIS help. Aa’meen Ya’Rabbul Aa’lameen._*
