Surah Suad 76 to 78 Daily Qur’an & Hadith (08 July 2024)

English Translation of Al-Quran

[38].Surah Suad

Ayat 76. [Ibis (Satan)] said: “I am better than him (human), and Allah You created me from fire, and created him from clay.”

Ayat 77. (Allah) said: to [Ibis (Satan)] “Then get out from here, for verily, you are outcast.

Ayat 78.  “And verily!, My Curse is on you till the Day of Recompense.”

Tafseer of Surah Suad Ayat 76. (Iblis) said: “I am better than he: thou created me from fire, and him thou created from clay.” Ayat 77. ((Allah)) said: “Then get thee out from here: for thou art rejected, accursed. Ayat 78. “And My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Judgment.” See 15:35, where it is explained why the respite is to the Day of Judgment. The whole of that passage in S. 15 forms a good commentary on this.

English Translation of Hadith

Hazrat Suleiman bin Surad (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I was sitting with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ [SAWW](PBUH) when two men began to quarrel and curse each other and the face of one of them turned red and the veins of his neck were swollen (from rage). Messenger of Allah ﷺ [SAWW](PBUH) said, “I know of a word, if he were to utter that, his rage would vanish and that is: A’udhu billahi minash-Shaitan nir-rajim (I seek refuge with Allah from Satan, the accursed).” So, they (Companions) said to him: “The Messenger of Allah ﷺ [SAWW](PBUH) tells you to utter: ‘I seek refuge with Allah from Satan, the accursed”.

[Muslim Book.08, Chapter 73, Hadith # 74].

Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah As-Suad Ayat 77. (Allah) said: to [Ibis (Satan)] “Then get out from here, for verily, you are outcast” In the event of rage if a person becomes conscious that what he is feeling is a suggestion from Satan, he should prevent himself from it; this consciousness is the best remedy to overcome the rage. Those who are easily infuriated could make use of this prescription
