Surah Al-Qasas Ayat 41 & 42 Daily Qur’an & Hadith (03 May 2023)

English Translation of Al-Quran

[28].Surah Al-Qasas [The Narration]

Ayat 41. And We made them leaders inviting to the Fire, and on the Day of Resurrection, they will not be helped.

Ayat 42. And We made a curse to follow them in this world, and on the Day of Resurrection, they will be among Al-Maqbuhun (those who are prevented from receiving Allah’s Mercy or any good, despised or destroyed, etc.).

Tafseer of Surah Al-Qasas (The Narration) Ayat 41 & 42. And we made them (but) leaders inviting to the Fire; and on the Day of Judgment no help shall they find. in this world We made a curse to follow them: And on the Day of Judgment, they will be among the loathed (and despised). Power and patronage may be lauded by sycophants and selfish place hunters; but when they are misused, and when their exposure causes their fall, they suffer ignominy even in this life. If they manage to escape exposure while alive, it often happens that they are found out after their death, and the curses of many generations follow those whose oppressions and wrongdoing spoiled the fair face of Allah’s earth. But even this is nothing to the true Punishment that will come in the Hereafter. There, true values will be restored, and some of the highest and mightiest will be in the lowest depths of degradation.

English Translation of Hadith

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, “The (Hell) Fire is surrounded with all kinds of desires and passions, while Jannah is surrounded with adversities.”

[Muslim Book 40, Chapter 01, Hadith # 6779].

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Qasas Ayat 42. “We made a curse to follow them in this world, and on the Day of Resurrection” The way to Hell is littered with these evils. When a person crosses them, it is an indication that he has entered Hell. On the other side exists a series of griefs and calamities, Islamic injunctions, and obligations (the compliance with which is often irksome for man) impede his way to Jannah. When a person endures them with patience, he, in fact, overcomes those obstacles and becomes eligible for Jannah.
